Last month’s Manchester derby had resulted in City extending their lead on the top of the table by 11 points after making United their 14th successive victims in their unmatchable run of 18 straight victories.



Hosting their biggest rivals from across town is always expected to be a hostile affair for the Old Trafford faithful, and especially so when one of them mugs around and insults one of the ballboys there.

That is exactly what happened during a moment in the game, when City’s Kyle Walker was caught on camera fooling around the sidelines in the first half.

When a Ball Boy standing nearby picked up the ball and passed it to Walker for a throw-in, the defender let it bounce back off his legs instead of catching it with his hands.

Walker sparked off angry reactions from United supporters the very next moment when he slyly kicked the ball out after the poor kid passed the ball to him once again.
