Despite tying up the transfer of Virgil van Djik this week, Liverpool seem keen to add to their squad in the winter transfer window, especially if Philippe Coutinho leaves.



The Reds have been heavily linked with Schalke’s Leon Goretzka who has just 6 months left on his contract at the German club.

A highly rated and versatile midfielder, Leon Goretzka has been on the radar of a number of big clubs but hasn’t made any comment on his future.

His recent Instagram activity however seems to suggest otherwise. The youngster liked a video where Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is seen passionately egging his team on in a Europa League fixture a couple of seasons ago.

This was quickly spotted by Liverpool fans who wasted no time in circulating screenshots online hoping it meant the 22-year-old was hinting at a future under Klopp.
