Sadio Mane got Liverpool ahead in the second half but it was Ragnar Klavan’s late header that gave the Reds all 3 points against a tough Burnley side.
The stoppage time goal ensured that Liverpool had a wining start to 2018 with Ragnar Klavan becoming the first Estonian ever to score in a Premier League match.
And the 32-year-old’s heroics certainly made a mark on teammate Adam Lallana who took to Instagram to pay tribute to the Estonian by referring to the former Augsburg man as his “Estonia’s finest”.
Lallana will be hoping to get on the scoresheet himself after the Three Lions star made his comeback to the side after battling a thigh injury for most part of 2017.
