(Video) Stunning pass on international duty shows why Jose Mourinho spent big on Victor Lindelof

Manchester United fans never got a chance to see summer signing Victor Lindelof in action ever since he made his debut during last month’s UEFA Super Cup defeat to Real Madrid.

The 23-year-old’s signing from Benfica was seen to be a bid to accommodate him in Jose Mourinho’s defensive lineup.

Two months down the lane, the defender is yet to cement his place as a regular member of the team and is still awaiting his first Premier League match.

Far away in Sweden’s national team, however, Lindelof’s story is quite different.

During the Swedes’ 4-0 World Cup qualifier victory over Belarus, not only did the player get to start the game, but he also played a major role in ensuring a clean sheet.

In one particular instance during the game, Lindelof justified his £30 million price tag by producing a defence-splitting Pass that eventually ended up resulting in his side’s third goal of the night.
