Chelsea’s 1-0 victory over Manchester United in the FA Cup quarter-final might have been a game that saw two relatively evenly matched sides, but it produced a game that wasn’t easy on the eye for the most part. Still, Chelsea fans will undoubtedly be happy over the upcoming Wembley trip as well as getting one over ex-manager Jose Mourinho.
The game was decided by an unlikely goal-scorer in N’Golo Kante. The Frenchman might be one of the best midfielders in the world right now, but he isn’t exactly renowned for smashing them in from 30 yards out. Amazingly, both of his club goals for Chelsea have come against Manchester United.
He did have another little highlight during the game. Receiving the ball from Willian, Kante was up against Marouane Fellaini when he pretended to shoot but quickly moved the ball to the other side. The dummy was so well-executed that all Fellaini could do was slide into a tackle before realising that Kante had sold him dreams.
