How to order printed custom patches

Our Printed custom Patches are the newest wave in custom patches!  These patches are an inexpensive alternative to the traditional embroidered patches, and have a few benefits, too.

If you want to move away from traditional embroidered patches, printed patches are the way to go.  You can become your own patch maker and create and design your own custom velcro patches.

Here are a few things to keep in mind when you are going to order printed custom patches:

Have a completed design:  if you want your final custom velcro patch to be a circle shape, make sure that your design is in a circle shape!  If you are having your patch designed by someone else, make sure that the final design is in the shape that you want.

Not all shapes are suitable for patches.  We have to merrow your printed custom velcro patches, so you need to make sure that your patch design is in a simple shape - the merrow machine will not do inside corners, etc. (like a star for example) but they will do simple shapes:  squares, circles, ovals and some shield shapes.  The more simple the shape, the better!  Merrowing is an important part of any patch, so it is better to have the patch merrowed for a professional finish.

Make your design the right size.  While we can do printed patches from just about any design that you send, size does matter.  Yes, i just said that!  LOL.  If you are sending a tiny thumbnail picture and want a 4x4 patch, you are not going to have the same quality within the design:  I have to stretch the patch out to make it a 4x4 and there will be loss of detail, definition and often some "artifacts" or blurry parts.  So make sure your design is big enough to be reproduced properly.

Here are the settings that you want:  300DPI and at at the correct size that you want the patch.  Be sure to add a stroke of 30PX for the merrowed edge too.  If you don't have one added, we will add one for you, so when we merrow we don't merrow into your patch design.

Remember to add a background too!
