Its true! Now you can create your own custom Patches - and have them Glow in the dark, too! We now have custom ID patches available in PVC vinyl, and they are glow in the dark!
The ID patches are a standard 2 x 3 in size and will not have the merrowed edge unless requested - the edge will be die cut and have the glow in the dark material around it - so the whole outline of the patch will glow, along with your own lettering.
The font for the lettering will be a Stencil font - it looks great with glow in the dark material - its big and clear and has a great style to it! Of course, as always, if you want a different font - for instance the standard Ariel font - we can do that too. The only thing that we won't be able to do is an fancy fonts - it will take too much away from the lettering - so stick with straight fat fonts and we will be able to grant your request! The fat fonts work best - and look the best.
Colours are WYSIWYG - what you see is what you get - there is only one kind of glow in the dark PVC vinyl available, and this is it. The PVC vinyl is white in normal light and then a cool (and bright) glow green in the dark!! You can put it on any background fabric or camo fabric that you want, but the daytime color is still going to be white. So we figured it looked best as an ID patch - black background with white lettering, but you could also use multicam black, or even Atacs LE and it would look awesome - actually most of the camo backgrounds that we offer would look great with white lettering. The letters are machine cut, so they are cut precisely at a professional level - the letters will be perfect every time.
OK so how does the glow in the dark work? as with any luminescent material, you have to charge the material first - so nobody better complain that their glow in the Dark Patches "don't work" ha ha - you have to charge the material first. It doesn't take too long - just a few moments directly in front of a light bulb, and then turn out the lights - thats it. The charge lasts for quite a while, but if you want it brighter again, just charge it again! Its easy.
These patches are perfect for night games and some serious fun - you can charge them with your flashlight and watch them glow for the game!
