Scotland have secured their place at Euro 2024 in Germany after a superb qualifying campaign!

Steve Clarke’s team still have two games remaining but have already guaranteed their spot at next year’s tournament. Now, the race is on with Spain to see who will finish as group winners.

Games against Georgia and Norway await the boys in Blue, but for now, the Tartan Army can relax and celebrate the fact that Scotland are off to the Euros!

Germany’s Calling

After the disappointment of missing out on a place at the 2022 World Cup, Scotland came roaring back with a blistering start to their Euro qualifiers.

Five wins in their opening five games, beating Spain, Georgia, Norway and Cyprus twice, set them on course for a spot in Germany.

Celebrations were put on hold with a controversial defeat to Spain after Scott McTominay’s free kick was harshly ruled out by VAR. But Spain’s beating of Norway in the following game ensured safe passage into next summer’s finals.

Had that goal stood, it would’ve been seven goals in qualifying for McTominay, who was without doubt the stand-out man for Scotland. Top-scoring with six goals so far, he’ll be looking to continue that form into next year’s tournament.
