Nike and PSG have outdone themselves once again to create one of the most beautiful kits that we’ve ever laid eyes on. Last season, Nike and PSG set a new standard with the release of the Dark Light kit. While we were in awe at the time, we had no idea that Nike and PSG were paving the way for the revolutionary AeroSwift technology that is now used to construct some of the world’s most iconic kits.
Paris Saint-Germain’s new luminous all-white third kit pays homage to Paris’ reputation as the City of Light.
The advanced performance technology in the kit is visible on the chest, where engineered knit zones create a subtle geometric pattern that enhances fit with smaller mesh shapes at the bottom of the graphic. The sleeves and the upper back have been infused with platinum threads that shine underneath stadium lights, whereas the club’s crest and Nike Swoosh feature an iridescent finish.
Odes to club pride appear on the interior and exterior of the shirt. ‘Paris’ is knit into the back collar, while ‘Grandeur’ and ‘Passion’ adorn the inside right and left cuffs, respectively.
The sides of the kit have a black stripe that runs the length of the shirt and matching shorts. Expanding when the player is in motion, the stripe maximizes ventilation and reveals a flash of underlying white.
