Chivas 110th Anniversary Jersey

Great moments are never forgotten and Guadalajara Football Club wrote one of the most important passages of Mexican football with its founding on March 8th, 1906.

After 110 years in Mexican football, Chivas have accumulated 23 national and international titles: 11 League Titles, 3 Cups, 7 “Campeón de Campeones”, 1 Mexican Supercup and 1 CONCACAF Champions’ Cup.

With such a rich history, the red and white lines of El Rebaño Sagrado have become synonymous with success on the pitch.

Together with their new kit partners Puma, Chivas have created a Jersey that captures the Club’s history and tradition while ushering in a new era.

This jersey includes dryCELL technology in order to regulate body temperature and this way assure lightness and freshness inside and outside the field, without leaving apart the retro and commemorative appearance, which represents more than a century of life.

Keeping in line with innovation and tradition, we can see the polo type neck as well as laces in the chest. A 110 years transfer is placed inside as well.

Back to the years that testified the beginning of this Club, a shield with the CG initials were placed in an embroidery felt in zigzag; the current shield of the Club in the front part of the shirt appears in a fine embossing relief. Three silicon Big Cats in relief were placed strategically in the front and lateral sides, creating a tridimensional effect.

Mesh fabric is placed in the back part and in the shoulders, which was formed by an aperture fabric that created a light material excellent for the player’s high performance due to this kind of pores that opens up with higher temperatures, allowing breathability to the body all the time.

Two transfers in the back; one referring to the “Campeonísimo” with the eleven stars in the front part, while the Club’s shield is in the upper side. These both complement themselves in this elegant and historic jersey.
