Bohm single walks it off for the Phillies; Walker solid through six

Bryce Harper's Walk-up music was still blaring through the speakers at Citizens Bank Park as he was already on his way to first base via an intentional walk. Alec Bohm followed and lifted the second pitch he saw down the right field line, allowing Trea Turner to score from second base to give the Phillies a 5-4 walk-off victory over the Mets.

The magic number for the top wild card spot now sits at four.

"As much as you want to scoreboard watch and see how other teams are doing, we're in a good position to just worry about ourselves," Bohm said.

Phillies reliever Craig Kimbrel blew his fourth save of the season when Brett Baty took him deep in the ninth with a one-out tying solo blast to center. It marked the sixth time over the previous two weeks that the Phillies surrendered the tying or go-ahead run in the eighth inning or later. It's an alarming trend for a club trying to secure a playoff spot with just eight games remaining in the regular season.

Taijuan Walker gave the Phillies six quality innings, surrendering two runs on five hits. The outing marked just the second time he's allowed two runs or less since July 31.

Kyle Schwarber delivered an RBI single in the seventh, giving the Phillies a 4-2 advantage. The RBI was his 100th of the year, putting him in rarified company as just the 13th player in history dating back to 1920 to finish with at least 120 walks, 100 runs, 100 RBIs, and 45 homers in a season.

J.T. Realmuto hit a three-run homer in the sixth for the Phillies. Weather may play a factor over the next several days as heavy rain is expected in the Philadelphia region.

The Phillies and Mets share Monday as an off day, so it's possible the series gets bumped a day and the clubs play on their off day.
