Phillies open final week of regular season with four-game set in D.C.

Zack Wheeler gets the ball for the Phillies as the club opens a season-ending seven-game road trip in Washington tonight against the Nationals.

The Phillies fell to the Blue Jays on Sunday and currently sit as the No. 7 seed in the National League, leading the Giants, Reds, and Brewers by a half-game.

To lock down a playoff berth, the Phillies need to take care of business in D.C. and continue to have their way with the Nationals. They are 6-0 against the Nats this year.

Following the four-game set in Washington, the Phils will head to Tampa Bay to finish the Regular season with a three-game series against the Rays. The Rays enter play on Monday with the best record in the American League at 35-19.

Injury Updates
J.T. Realmuto will do some additional exercises on Monday and manager Joe Girardi said he's hopeful to have him available to play in either end of Tuesday's doubleheader. Bryce Harper is in the starting lineup tonight as DH. He left Sunday's contest early with lower back pain.

Wheeler Rolling
Wheeler is still dealing with a nail issue on his right middle finger but said he feels confident that the nail isn't in danger of falling off. He tossed 7 1/3 innings in his last start, surrendering three runs on seven hits. For the Phillies to expect to compete come October, Wheeler needs to remain healthy.

Tonight's Lineup
Haseley, 7
Harper, DH
Bohm, 3
Gregorius, 6
Segura, 5
Bruce, 9
Knapp, 2
Kingery, 4
Quinn, 8
