The Phillies traded right-handed pitcher Severino Gonalzez to the Miami Marlins for future considerations, the club announced Tuesday.
Gonzalez was designated for assignment by the Phillies last week following the acquisition of outfielder Michael Saunders.
Gonzalez, 24, has spent parts of the past two seasons in Philadelphia but has struggled, pitching to a 6.68 ERA over 66 innings.
