West Ham are on the Verge of signing Swansea City star Andre Ayew for £16million according to The Sun.
The Hammers have made the offer for the Ghanaian, 26, and Swansea chairman Huw Jenkins will accept the surprise windfall.
West Ham had the option of signing the Ghanaian international on a free transfer last summer when he contract expired with Marseille they but opted not to after they refused to pay his wage demands.
Instead, the player joined Swansea on a free transfer after the his contract with Marseille expired.
Now Slaven Bilic’s side will give Ayew about £75,000 a week to add variety to their attack.
Ayew is open to the move after losing some of his form when new Swans boss Francesco Guidolin changed their style of play.The Welsh club are happy to make a massive profit — with Jenkins keen to reinvest immediately.
Guidolin has his eye on Barcelona wide man Cristian Tello, 24, and could now offer cash after having a loan move snubbed.
