The Nigerian duo of Gbolahan Salami and Taye Taiwo are among the top scorers in the Finnish League having both netted four goals apiece this season.

At the moment Dever Orgill from Jamaica is leading the goals race with six goals and the 26-year old will have to be at his best to fence off the chase by Salami and Taiwo who have both been in good form for their respective clubs this season.

Aside Orgil, only Finnish forward, Juho Makela has scored more (5) than the Nigerian duo of Salami and Taiwo. KuPS who have Salami and his former Warri Wolves teammate Egwuekwe in their roster are third on the league table with 16 points from 10 games.

Twenty six-year-old defender Egwuekwe has scored three goals in the league and one in cup game, while Salami has netted four goals in the league.

On their part, HJK who has Taiwo and Nnamdi Oduamadi on-loan from AC Milan are top on the log after 10 games.
