The international break is finally over and that means the FPL is back. For those pondering over what transfers to make and who to throw the armband to, here you go
EIGHT TO CONSIDER
Anthony Martial - £7.6m. Despite their loss to Manchester City in their most recent game before the break, Martial continued his hot streak of producing FPL returns. He Scored his sixth goal in five matches and assuming Jose Mourinho confirms his fitness, he's a must have ahead of a home game against a struggling, Crystal Palace.
Ryan Bennett - £4.2m. Everyone loves a cut-price defender and Ryan Bennett fits the bill this week. Wolves returned to form by only narrowly failing to beat Arsenal at the Emirates and they should be capable of earning their fifth clean sheet of the season at home to Huddersfield on Sunday.
Richarlison- £7.0m. Not an original pick as the Brazilian is owned by over a quarter of all FPL managers, but Everton are at home to Cardiff at the weekend.
The Toffees have netted eight in their last three at Goodison, while the visitors have conceded nine times in their last three on the road. Richarlison scored twice in his most recent home appearance.
Andrew Robertson - £6.5m. The Scotland captain has been superb for the Reds this year as not only has he defended well, he's made three assists too.
His attacking prowess continues to rise and that is evidenced by the fact that his three highest Threat ratings have been achieved in his last four games. He is also a bonus points magnet, and while Liverpool are away at Watford, he still possesses both clean sheet and attacking returns potential.
Glenn Murray - £6.7m. The evergreen frontman has already scored six times this season and he is well on his way to surpassing last year's total of 12 league goals.
Five of those goals came at home, and the Seagulls are at the Amex again on Saturday, this time against a Leicester side who can be quite inconsistent. They also have a couple of clumsy defenders, and Murray will be on spot kick duty.
Raheem Sterling - £11.2m. Sterling is challenging Sergio Aguero as Manchester City's most valuable FPL asset and I would expect him to add to his six goals and five assists at West Ham on Saturday afternoon. The Hammers are far from solid defensively and City are pretty unstoppable at present.
Mesut Ozil - £8.3m. I included Ozil in my eight to like for Gameweek 12 and he failed to deliver. I am taking another chance on him for Sunday's match against Bournemouth as the German has been well rested during the international break and the Gunners have been scoring for fun away from home. The Cherries have done really well this year, but they don't keep many clean sheets.
Ryan Sessegnon - £6.0m. This is a bit of a punt as the youngster has just one goal and one assist to his name this year and Fulham have lost seven on the bounce in all competitions.
Claudio Ranieri has been appointed as their new manager though and I'm hopeful of that lifting the players for their home game against a struggling, Southampton side.
TWO TO AVOID
Harry Kane - £12.3m. The England striker has scored just once in Spurs' last five Premier League matches and they face Chelsea on Saturday evening. The Blues have conceded just one away goal all year, and they are yet to be beaten. Roberto Firmino- £9.2m. Jurgen Klopp has been experimenting with a new system this season and it involves his Brazilian frontman dropping deeper than usual.
While his performance level hasn't really dropped, his attacking returns have - two goals and two assists - and he just isn't warranting the £9.2m outlay at present.
Captain's pick
There is no real stand-out pick this week as Man City, Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea are all away from home, while Spurs have to take on the latter of those three, and Man United can't be trusted to produce.
That leads me back to Sergio Aguero, and while far from an original choice, the Argentinian has had a couple of weeks off and will be licking his lips at lining up against a West Ham defence that are conceding an average of 1.5 goals per game this season.
