Today's Gossip: Latest On Fekir, Jorginho, Wilshere, Khedira & More!

Khedira On His Way To Liverpool?
With Liverpool midfielder Emre Can having been linked with Juventus for what seems like an age, his potential arrival in Turin could bring about a midfield move in the other direction.

The Sun reports that Can's "imminent departure could see Liverpool land Sami Khedira from Juve."

Germany international Can has long appeared destined for the Serie A giants, and the report says Liverpool "were alerted to the potential availability of Khedira" during talks.
It adds that Khedira, also a Germany star, "could be a suitable for replacement for Can and would be keen to work with his compatriot Jurgen Klopp."

On Monday, Khedira told Bild that a move to England would be a natural step after his time in Germany, Spain and now Italy.

Meanwhile, Liverpool are interested in re-signing their former goalkeeper Pepe Reina, according to the Mirror.

It says Klopp wants to bring in Napoli's Reina as backup for Loris Karius and suggests Liverpool have given up on hopes of bringing in Roma's Brazil keeper Alisson.

With Roma making it clear they do not want Alisson to go anywhere, the Mirror adds that Liverpool fear they "could be priced out" of any move for him.

Instead, "Anfield chiefs believe the experienced Reina could help guide Karius -- but no bid has yet been made."

Wilshere Poised For Arsenal Stay
So where might Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere be off to? Nowhere new, says the Mirror, which reports that he is all set to stay at the Emirates.
Wilshere is out of contract at the end of the season, but the report says Arsenal "are confident he will sign a new deal" despite uncertainty over who succeeds Arsene Wenger as manager.

Arsenal made a new offer to the England international last week and "are hopeful that it will bring a breakthrough in his contract standoff."

Reports had indicated that Wilshere was ready to leave amid an ongoing impasse, with the Mirror saying he "feared Arsenal were not fully committed to wanting him to stay."

He was linked with clubs including Liverpool, Manchester City, Juventus and AC Milan, with Wolves and Everton also reportedly keen, but the Mirror says his preference was to stay in North London -- and that outcome is drawing closer.

Fekir Deal Reportedly Agreed
Reports from French outlet RMC believe that Premier League giants Liverpool have agreed a fee to sign Lyon winger Nabil Fekir.
The 24-year-old Fekir has emerged as one of the world's most wanted superstars over the last two seasons and he has attracted attention from a host of big clubs already. This season, the Frenchman has scored 17 times and has assisted eight times in 28 appearances for Lyon.

RMC report that it has been confirmed by them and Canal Sport that Liverpool a fee in the region of 70 million euros to sign Fekir.

The fee includes add-ons and it said that Gerard Houllier, who is an assistant to Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas, has helped Liverpool clinch the potential deal. The former Reds' boss was in England to finalize the deal for his former club.

It is a five-year contract and the deal will also see Liverpool sign Fekir's brother- Yassin Fekir.

Liverpool though, have not planned on stopping there. They will also look at the possibility of signing Barcelona's Ousmane Dembele, who was signed last summer but has failed to impress.

Jurgen Klopp is said to be a big fan of Dembele and had traveled to Paris to meet the player when he was playing for Borussia Dortmund before signing for Barcelona.

Iniesta Set To Choose Between Australia And Japan
Although it points out that "no particular Aussie clubs have been connected with a move for the 33-year-old," it adds that suggestions of a Chinese Super League move appear to be overdone.
Barcelona legend Iniesta was originally linked with Chongqing Lifan, only for the CSL club to rule themselves out of the running on Monday.

Meanwhile, sources told ESPN's Jordi Blanco that Iniesta has reached an agreement to sign with Vissel Kobe.

He will reportedly sign a three-year deal with the J-League side, who will pay him an annual salary of $30 million -- an amount that could prove to be too high for A-League clubs to match.

Jorginho On Demand
Jorginho is a man in demand, with his agent confirming “four or five Premier League clubs” want to sign him this summer.
The Brazil-born Italy international has seen his reputation rise sky high this season after helping Napoli challenge for the Serie A title. That may well end in failure with Juventus close to wrapping up the Scudetto, despite a late season scare last month when Napoli won 1-0 in Turin to pile the pressure on Juve.

Jorginho, 26, has been hugely influential, scoring four goals and claiming four assists in 37 appearances.

Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United and Manchester City have all been linked with him and Goal report that City are getting closer to sealing a £50million as they look for a replacement for Yaya Toure.

His agent Joao Santos refused to confirm any talks have taken place with the midfielder’s suitors, but he has admitted Premier League teams are chasing him.

AC Milan’s Suso Does Not Fancy Transfer Back To Liverpool
AC Milan star Suso has ended any hope Liverpool and Tottenham had of signing him this summer.
The 24-year-old attacking midfielder left Liverpool for Milan on a free transfer in January 2015 after an unsuccessful spell at Anfield.

Suso made just 21 first-team appearances for Liverpool, scoring once, but his stature has grown in Serie A and he has become an integral part of Gennaro Gattuso’s side.

He has scored eight goals and created 14 in 48 appearances this season and that has led to links with Liverpool and Tottenham.

Last month Marca claimed Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool’s management had already held talks about triggering the player’s exit fee and bringing him back to Merseyside.

That release clause stands at €40million with the player under contract until 2022, but Suso has declared his happiness in Milan and has no intentions of leaving.
