While the game between Nigeria and Cameroon was going on, a video Victor Moses snubbing a handshake from NFF president Amaju Pinnick became a trending item on Twitter.
What kind of curve is this? Brought to you by Ahmed Musa and Victor Moses to Amaju Pinnick (Nigerian FA President). WATCH. pic.twitter.com/Rdn6OXu1nv— Olamidé Deji Adédeji (@OlamideAdedeji) September 4, 2017
The video was recorded during Super Eagles arrival in Yaounde ahead of the game.
Pinnick and other officials were standing to welcome the players who were just disembarking a flight with handshakes.
After exchanging handshakes with other officials, Moses ignored Pinnick’s extended hand to set reports of a problem between them.
Musa also didn't acknowledged Pinnick in the video.
The NFF quickly shut down any rumour with a video of Pinnick with Musa and Moses downplaying the incident. "I don't know what you guys are talking about, I don't know what;s going on," Moses says in the video
