Odion Ighalo On The Verge Of Watford Exit After Arrival Of French Striker

There are indications that Nigerian striker, Odion Ighalo may be heading for the exit doors at Watford following an announcement from the Hornets on Wednesday that they have signed French striker, Niang from AC Milan.

The Premier League club have bolstered their strikeforce with the addition of M'Baye Niang on loan.
The France Under 21 international - Milan's second-youngest goalscorer of all time - has signed on with the Hornets until the end of the season.

Watford have the option to turn the transfer into a permanent switch in the summer for a £14million fee.
Niang's deal also becomes permanent if he scores 10 Premier League goals. The 22-year-old has seen his Milan career stall this season, with the versatile forward scoring just three times in 18 Serie A appearances.
There have been series of reports around the future of Ighalo at Vicarage Road as he was initially linked with a switch to the Hawthorns where West Brom were said to be interested in his services.

However, the Baggies have since pulled the plug on the chase as Tony Pulis says Watford are asking for too much money.

Another possible destination for Ighalo will be China where a big money move to join Obafemi Martins and Carlos Tevez at Shanghai Shenhua is also on the cards.

Presently serving out a ban, Watford FC's new signing would only be eligible for a debut when Walter Mazzari's side host Burnley on February 4
