According to a report from Football Insider, West Ham are interested in signing Newcastle midfielder Jonjo Shelvey this summer. And some Hammers fans have taken to Twitter in reaction to the speculation.

The east London outfit have long been linked with the 28-year-old Magpies ace. In fact, the links go back as far as 2017 (The Mirror).
Shelvey grew up in Harold Hill and was a West Ham fan as a boy. So it's easy to see why we have been linked with him on numerous occasions in the past.
The former Liverpool and Swansea City man seems to be a player who has never quite lived up to his full potential.
Although he has made vast improvements since Steve Bruce took charge of Newcastle.
Shelvey has scored five goals in 17 games for Newcastle this season (Who Scored). And he has transformed himself into one of Bruce's key players at St James' Park.
The Toon surely won't want to sell the 28-year-old this summer.
The Chronicle suggested recently that Newcastle could be tempted to cash in on the midfielder for around £20 million, however.
And that seems like decent business for West Ham.
But many Hammers fans just seem to be plain bored with the perennial transfer rumour…
