West Ham and Arsenal might have just been given a massive boost to their hopes of signing Unai Nunez with AS reporting that the Spanish centre-back has rejected a third contract offer from Athletic Bilbao.

And the La Liga side allegedly won't be making any more attempts to tie the centre-back down to a new deal.
David Moyes and Mikel Arteta will both surely be desperate to bolster their central defensive ranks this summer.
The Hammers and the Gunners have been very weak in central defence this season. Although Arteta has made somewhat of a difference since taking over at the Emirates.
And Nunez might just be the ideal addition for West Ham or Arsenal.
Stats
The Spaniard is described as a tall, strong centre-back who is very good in the air by Inside Athletic (official website for Athletic Bilbao). It is also suggested that the 23-year-old is a fantastic reader of the game.
He is at the perfect age to move to the Premier League from La Liga as well.
According to Who Scored, in 12 La Liga outings this season, the Spaniard has averaged 0.8 tackles, 1.3 interceptions and 4.3 clearances per game.
Nunez has also won an average of 2.5 aerial duals per game in those matches (Who Scored).
AS claims that Bilbao could sell Nunez for around €30 million (£26 million). And that would represent decent business for either West Ham or Arsenal.
Potential bargain for the two London clubs
Considering the claims from AS that the 23-year-old has rejected a third contract offer from Bilbao, his days at San Mames Stadium are surely numbered.
All that remains to be seen is whether the Hammers boss David Moyes or Gunners chief Mikel Arteta believe that Nunez is worth the £26 million fee it will reportedly take to prise him away from the La Liga outfit.
In the current climate, perhaps that fee can be brought down. And if that's the case, West Ham or Arsenal could be on the verge of a real bargain.
