West Ham United are keen on signing Norwegian midfield star Sander Berge in January.
That's according to reliable Hammers insider ExWHUemployee.
West Ham's squad has been brutally exposed this season with deficiencies in several key areas eventually costing Manuel Pellegrini his job.
Midfield has been a particular problem for some time.
Moyes acting fast to fix midfield problem
And it seems new West Ham boss David Moyes is wasting little time in going about fixing it.
That's if ExWHUemployee is to be believed.
The Twitter and radio personality says West Ham are interested in the 6ft 5in midfield powerhouse who has already racked up 20 caps for Norway and 150 senior career appearances.
Key to the deal could be West Ham's existing relationship with the Genk player's agent.

Last month The Daily Star reported that West Ham were frontrunners for Berge, who was also attracting interest from Liverpool and Napoli.
Despite high praise from Jurgen Klopp after Liverpool's game against Genk in the Champions League, Berge prefers a move to West Ham according to the Bleacher Report.

And the Hammers could get him for less than £20million.
Berge is exactly what West Ham have been missing. An energetic, athletic, powerful midfielder who can complement Declan Rice and Mark Noble in the middle of the park.
At 21 West Ham would also be signing the right profile of player to build for the future.
