West Ham United’s trip to Everton this weekend is fast becoming a crunch clash.
West Ham have been widely backed to challenge the top six after a good start to the season.
Everton were another club many predicted would be jostling with the likes of the Hammers to gatecrash the established Premier League elite.

Silva lining for West Ham?
And according to reports in the likes of The Telegraph, Silva must beat Manuel Pellegrini’s West Ham to keep his job.
Goodison Park has been a tough place to go for the Hammers over the years.
But last season Pellegrini's men came away with an impressive 3-1 win.
With so much seemingly riding on the game for the hosts it could go one of two ways for West Ham.
The pressure could play into West Ham's hands and help them secure a morale boosting victory after defeat to Crystal Palace last time out.
Or Silva may get a reaction from the Toffees in his hour of need.

Well-placed journalist gives inside track
West Ham fans will be interested to know the situation awaiting them on Merseyside.
And speaking on Sky Sports' Sunday Supplement, well-placed journalist Dave Maddock - The Daily Mirror's northern football correspondent - gave the inside track.
The club are saying at the moment that Silva has their backing - they believe he is still in a project which is not a short-term one and it could take three or four years, Maddock said on Sky Sports.
They did not get all the players they wanted in the summer.
Silva needed a centre-half and did not get it, they needed another goalscorer and did not get it.
They came close to getting both, but eventually did not.

Could go one of two ways for Hammers
West Ham certainly got their goalscorer. Sebastien Haller arrived for a club record £45million and has made a great start to life in the Premier League.
Four goals and three assists in his seven games so far tells its own story. But it is his all round play, strength, agility and intelligence that has impressed most.
West Ham's big worry comes at the back. Unfancied goalkeeper Roberto is set for a three-month spell in the team following Lukasz Fabianski's injury.
