Roma are eyeing a move for Tottenham midfielder Erik Lamela, according to reports in Spain.
However, he has been given a new lease of life under Mauricio Pochettino, scoring eight goals for the Premier League title contenders.
The report further adds that Roma want to secure a return for Lamela if Miralem Pjanic leaves the club at the end of the season, with Real Madrid believed to be showing a keen interest in the Bosnian.
Lamela has himself admitted he would like to return to Roma but insists he is not ready to leave Tottenham.
“For the moment a move is difficult, but maybe in the future why not?.”
Lamela has also been attracting interest from Juventus and Inter Milan.
