Coreau has been one of the best goaltenders in the AHL this season, holding a 26-10-2 record, 2.27 goals against average, and a save percentage of 0.928. This will be his first taste of the NHL, as he backs up Jimmy Howard.

Petr Mrazek's groin injury is not thought of as serious, and he is considered day-to-day.
