Haloti Ngata, 33-year-old, 5 time pro bowl defensive tackle plans to play in the 2017 season according to Albert Breer of TheMMQB.com.
Breer tweeted that Ngata had informed the Lions of his intention over the last couple of weeks. Coming into this offseason, Lions brass were uncertain if Ngata would return.
Per sources, Haloti Ngata informed the Lions he plans to play this year over the last couple weeks. Staff was uncertain he was returning.

Ngata says he'll play another season. Detroit owes him more than $7M if I remember correctly. I'd want to re-work that.
