Obinna Nwaneri, a former Nigerian National team defender is the latest import player for Kelantan FA. Obinna started playing for Nigeria in 2004 and his last appearance for the Nigerian National team was in 2010. His first club was Enyimba Aba, Nigeria back in 2003 and had an outstanding season when he went to Esperance for 2004 and 2005. He then played for the FC Sion, Switzerland from 2006 to 2010. his last club was Kazma SC, Kuwait. He is described as mobile central defender with pace, control and timing.He was awarded with the captain armband in Enyimba and FC Sion respectively and earned success with those teams.
