According to the football transfer rumours in British media, Everton are interested in Calvin Ramsay.
The 18-year-old has played all his life at Aberdeen. He has three years left on his current contract which expires in 2024.
The right-back has featured in 12 matches for Aberdeen this term, providing five assists in all competitions.
He has been touted as one of the brightest young prospects in Scotland. Ramsay has represented Scotland at Under-16, Under-17 and Under-21 level, winning 11 caps. His performances have seen him become the target of many Premier League clubs including Everton.
Adding a right-back remains Everton’s top priority this winter and Rafa Benitez will have drafted a shortlist of a number of possible targets he could approach in the coming weeks.
Benitez has always been a manager who keeps his eyes on the most talented young players across the globe.
Ramsay is a skilled right-back who can make a difference at both ends of the pitch.
According to the report, “Everton are turning their attention to Aberdeen right-back Calvin Ramsay. According to The Sun, the Toffees were denied the chance to sign Rangers youngster Nathan Patterson. Now, manager Rafa Benitez is looking at Ramsay as he seeks to add a young right back to his squad. A scout was present to watch the 18-year-old as Aberdeen took on Motherwell in Scotland on Saturday. Ramsey, who played for Scotland’s Under-21 side last week against Turkey, came off after 62 minutes with cramp.”

Given Ramsay’s talent and potential, he would be a very good signing for Everton in the long run.
Stylistically, he would be a great fit in Everton.
