The victory came easy for Federer this time. The player played smoothly since the quarterfinals. First, he beat the Canadian player Milos Raonic in the quarterfinals to make it through to the next level. Then, the player made his way to the finals defeating Tomáš Berdych. Now, it was time for him to face the Croatian 7th seed Marin Čilić in the final match. The finale of the grand slam tournament was played for 1 hour and 41 minutes.
