First Match Prediction: Comparing the Performances of the Teams
If we compare the performances of both the teams is the previous seasons of the NatWest T20 Blast, none of the teams has clinched the winning title even once. Speaking of the first edition of the NatWest T20 Blast in 2014, Gloucestershire Gladiators ended up on the 8th spot, being the second last on the points table of the South Division. On the other hand, Middlesex Panthers finished on the 9th (last) spot. In the 2015 NatWest t20 Blast, Gloucestershire improved their performance and reached the 5th rank in the standings but Middlesex remained persistent staying at the last position. Gloucestershire played outstanding in the 2016 NatWest T20 Blast securing the 1st spot in the South Division standings. However, the team lost to Durham in the Quarter-finals. Middlesex improved too, standing 3rd on the points table and hence qualifying for the knockout stage. But the team was defeated by Northamptonshire in the Quarter-finals just like Gloucestershire.
