Editor’s Note: As a human being, I felt it was important to speak on the Chauvin trial and the verdict. I’ve been watching the entirety of the trial and it’s been hard to watch, to say the least. Our website is very lucky to be extremely opinion-based. That’s the beauty of running your own website. I wanted to get my feelings out there and hopefully someone can relate and feel good enough to talk on their own podcast about the verdict honestly and genuinely. I am not speaking on behalf of our entire team, but believe me when I say that we encourage our writers to speak and give their thoughts on important causes and issues — because they are important.
If you have a disagreement with my opinion on the verdict — I am in favor of the guilty verdict on all three counts for Chauvin — then you have every right to skip the segment.
