205 Live Recap: Kalisto shuts Enzo Amore up

The high-flying 205 Live made its way to the Keyarena in Seattle, Wash.

The show was all about the new Cruiserweight Champion getting some revenge on Enzo Amore. After being attacked by Amore and his new friends on Monday Night RAW, Kalisto didn’t waste any time sending a message.

Not only did he attack Amore at the start of the show, Kalisto and his tag partner Mustafa Ali were able to pick up the victory against Amore and Ariya Daivari in the show’s main event. After the match the four continued to brawl outside the ring, needing referees to separate them.

The show kicked off with Rich Swann taking on Gentleman Jack Gallagher, with Cedric Alexander and The Brian Kendrick at ringside respectively. Swann took control early on, until a distraction allowed Kendrick to throw Swann face first onto the floor.

Gallagher then went on the attack, dismantling Swann with vicious brutality. Swann showed resilience, however, and was about to score the victory before Kendrick interfered once again. Alexander went to make the save and an all-out brawl broke loose between the four men.

Gallagher and Kendrick were able to escape through the crowd, but they won’t have anywhere to hide when they face Swann and Alexander at WWE TLC.

Drew Gulak came out to once again continue his PowerPoint presentation for a better 205 Live, much to the disdain of the WWE Universe. This time he presented proposal number six, “No defying authority.”

The crowd wasn’t having it, chanting “boring” throughout the segment.

Gulak had enough, and announced that he would be presenting a championship edition of the PowerPoint on the kickoff show for WWE TLC this Sunday.

Final Thoughts

Overall the show wasn’t too bad. Most of the cruiserweights are going to be on the WWE TLC pay-per-view, which is an improvement from previous shows. It’s good to see more than just one cruiserweight match being featured.

As much as people don’t want to admit it, Amore is making people pay attention to 205 Live and the cruiserweights again. I won’t be surprised if he ends up winning the title back at WWE TLC.
