The US Navy Blue Angels announced their schedules for the 2018 air show seasons. The Blue Angels will appear in Fargo July 28th and 29th of 2018. The Fargo AirSho committee has been in contact with numerous military aircraft that may be on display or flying demonstrations. They include, C-130, C-17, C-5, F-15, F-35, F-22, F-16. In addition, a number of vintage “War Bird” planes will be part of the show celebrating Navy Week in Fargo. The US Navy Seals “Leap Frog” parachute team will also perform. The new commander of the Blue Angels, Eric “Popeye” Doyle has a North Dakota connection. His father Eugene Doyle grew up in Lakota and graduated from NDSU and flew F-4s in the Air Force with many missions in Viet Nam. Tickets will be available online in the near future at: Fargo AirSho.com/Tickets. If you get tickets in advance prices are $25.00 for adults, $10.00 for anyone between the ages of 11 to 17. Tickets at the gate will be $30.00 for adults and $15.00 for juniors.
