Blue Angels’ Fat Albert to fly over Pensacola Beach during return flight

The Blue Angels’ C-130 cargo jet Fat Albert is scheduled to fly over Pensacola Beach this afternoon to mark its official return to the team after being out of commission for repairs. The Blue Angels tweeted today that Fat Albert would be flying over the beach between 2:15 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. The tweet said fans would get their first glimpse of the newly refurbished plane. The iconic blue and gold C-130, which is always flown by members of the U.S. Marine Corps, had been undergoing repairs at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma and then at Hill Air Force Base in Utah.
