BRUNSWICK | The Blue Angels will perform in March at the rescheduled Wings Over the Golden Isles Airshow that was delayed from October because of Hurricane Matthew. The performance of the U.S. Navy Blue Angels jet demonstration team was announced Tuesday during the International Council of Air Shows Convention in Las Vegas, said Brenda Little, a publicist for JLC AirShow Management. The air show has been rescheduled for March 24-26. The Canadian Forces Snowbirds was set to perform at the inaugural Wings Over the Golden Isles, but only the advance team made it to Brunswick Golden Isles Airport before the show was called off. “Hosting the Blue Angels for the rescheduled air show in 2017 is the best medicine available for all the disappointed fans that looked forward to the show that we were forced to cancel,” said John Cowman, president of JLC AirShow Management.
