PENSACOLA, Fla. (WEAR) — United States Navy Flight Demonstration Squadron, the Blue Angels, announced updates to the 2017 air show schedule, and released the 2018 show schedule, at the International Council of Air Shows convention, Dec. 6. The Blue Angels are scheduled to perform 63 demonstrations at 33 locations in 2017 and 63 demonstrations at 33 locations in 2018. The 2017 schedule changes announced are: • The show in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, is cancelled and replaced with a show in Brunswick, Georgia, on March 25-26. • The show at Offutt Air Force Base (AFB), Nebraska, on July 1-2 is cancelled. • The show in Lincoln, Alabama, is changed to September 9-10. • The show at Naval Air Station (NAS) Oceana, Virginia, is changed to September 16-17. • The show in Durango, Colorado, is canceled and replaced with Huntington Beach, California, on September 30 – October 1. • The show at Marine Corps Base, Hawaii on October 14-15 is cancelled.
