UNION GOVT. approved redevelopment of 400 railway stations.
PM MODI gave its approval for redevelopment of 400 railway stations. (A-1 And A Category).
Station will be redevelopment by adopting the SWISS CHALLENGE METHOD.
SWILL CHALLENGE APPROACH, means a PRIVATE SECTOR PARTICIPANT (ORIGINAL PROJECT PROPONENT) submits an unsolicited or SUO-MOTU proposal and draft contract principles for undertaking a project.
CCEA approved creation of INTRA STATE TRANSMISSION SYSTEM IN 7 STATES.
The CCEA (CABINET COMMITTEE ON ECONOMIC AFFAIRS) approved the creation of an intra State Transmission System in seven state ( ANDHRA PARADESH, KARNATAKA, MP, MAHARASHTRA, RAJASTHAN, GUJARAT, HIMACHAL PRADESH).
Estimated cost of 8548 crore rupees of which 3419 crore rupees(40% of the total coast) will be contributed by NATIONAL CLEAN ENERGY FUND. The remaining cost will be met through KFW (GERMAN DEVELOPMENT BANK) loan (40% of the total cost) and remaining 20% as state contribution.
Transformation capacity around 17100 MVA (MEGA VOLT AMPERE) by installing over 7800 ckt-kms (CIRCUIT KILOMETER) of transmission lines in the these seven states.
