1973	Bahamas gained independence within commonwealth country. Bahamas is a island country located in Atlantic ocean. It is comprised of more than seven hundred small islands. It is a commonwealth country with the head monarch as Queen Elizabeth II of England.
1976	The Seveso disaster took place in Italy. It was an industrial disaster. It happened due to leak of 2, 3, 7, 8 - tetrachlorodibenzo-p-dioxin in residential population. More than 3000 animals were found dead and many humans suffered from skin inflammation and irritation.
1991	South African cricket team was readmitted in ICC. The team was suspended due to the apartheid policy of government. Coloured players were sent out of the team and only whites were allowed to play.
2000	EADS was formed. EADS stands for European Aeronautic Defence and Space Company. It was given the name Airbus Group. It was formed after the merger of DaimlerChrysler Aerospace AG (DASA), Construcciones Aeronáuticas SA (CASA) and Aérospatiale-Matra.
2007	First solo human world circumnavigation tour was started Erden Eruc. It was known for human powered circumnavigation. No motorized vehicle was used by Erden Eruc. He took time of about 5 years to complete the tour. He is an Turkish adventurer.
