A policeman was shot dead by suspected militants in Yaripora area of Kulgam district in south Kashmir on Wednesday.

Reports said that gunmen opened fire at him near Kanjikulla bridge when he was riding a motorcyle.
He was shifted to a hospital where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
