Audi officially took the covers off the all-new A8 on Tuesday at an event in Barcelona. Expected to make its way to India in 2019, the luxury sedan in its fourth generation brings to the fore several design elements as well as a hybrid powertrain.
The other highlights include an all-new active suspension system driving each wheel individually to better negotiate road conditions. There is a 48-volt main electrical system at the heart of the vehicle with additional electric motors at each wheel.
In the European markets, the Audi A8 will be offered in the 3.0 TDI and a 3.0 TFSI engine options which develop 286 hp and 340hp of max power, respectively.
