HYDERABAD: The Hyderabad Metro Rail Limited (HMRL) which has been running behind schedule will have to complete all the three corridors except 6 kms stretch ( 5 km stretch in the Old City and about 1 km stretch between Hitec city and Raidurg) by November 2018. As per the original agreement, July 4 was the deadline for the ‘concessionaire’ to complete the entire project (all three corridors).
Also a detailed review of the progress of the project was held on Monday by chief secretary, Telangana SP Singh. He instructed collectors of Hyderabad and Ranga Reddy districts and commissioner Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) to complete acquisition of the remaining properties quickly for widening of roads in Sultan Bazar, Nampally etc., and for implementing the project in the remaining few
