One of the most iconic names in music announced last week that he will be returning to one of the most iconic venues in sports. Paul Mccartney, founding member of the Beatles, will perform at Fenway Park on Sunday, July 17.

The concert will mark the third time Mccartney will make a tour stop at Fenway. In August 2009, he played a pair of sold-out shows at America’s Most Beloved Ballpark and returned for another show in July 2013.

McCartney has already added second shows in a handful of cities on his “One On One” tour, and with the Red Sox out of town for nearly a week leading up to the scheduled show and McCartney off for four days before July 17, don’t be surprised to see another show added at Fenway Park…
