The Verizon Indycar Series has a new stop on its 2016 docket, and it’s a city you might have heard of. The Boston Grand Prix, a road race on a 2.2 mile track in the Seaport, will hold its inaugural running on Sunday, September 4.

The IndyCar Series race will be the highlight of a Weekend full of concerts and other races in the Seaport District over Labor Day weekend and will be the second to last race in the Series. In May, all eyes in the sports world will be on the IndyCar Series with the 100th running of the Indianapolis 500.
Tickets to the Grand Prix of Boston have yet to go on sale, but will be available soon!
