Tottenham Bounce Back in Premier League, Arsenal Win

Tottenham Hotspur were able to shake off their Champions League exit disappointment as they pick up an important league win over Bournemouth on Sunday.

Coming straight from their 2-1 defeat against Juventus, Spurs were looking determined in making up for that disappointment as they put on an aggressive display since kick off.

However, Mauricio Pochettino’s men didn’t have a great start as they found themselves a goal down after just seven minutes through Junior Stanislas’ effort.

The visitor got themselves back into that tie on 31 minutes thanks to Dele Alli’s goal, which close that first 45 minutes with a 1-1 draw.

Spurs gained their composure after the break and eventually turned things around starting with Son Heung Min’s on 62 minutes, which he  followed with his second on 87 minutes.

Pochettino’s boys finally sealed their victory with a fourth goal, netted by Serge Aurier deep in stoppage time, giving that morale boosting victory as they push for that top four finish.

Meanwhile, Arsenal got themselves back on winning ways in the league, following their Europa League win over AC Milan.

The Gunners comfortably overcoming Watford 3-0 with goals scored by Shkodran Mustafi, Pierre Aubameyang along with Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

Certainly a positive result for Arsene Wenger’s side as they still reserve a small hope of chasing for that top four seat by the end of current season.
