Inter Boss, Spaletti Denied Mkhitaryan Rumors

Struggling to get playing time at Manchester United first team, rumors regarding Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s potential departure are spreading fans, though Inter Milan might not be his destination.

The denial regarding Inter’s interest on signing Mkhitaryan was stated by the club’s head coach, Luciano Spalletti, who stated that his side are not in any financial condition to sign the former Borussia Dortmund star.

Spalletti stated that for Nerazzurri to acquire Mkhitaryan, they must fork out an amount between 30-40 million Euro, something that the Italian side won’t be able to cash out for now.

Moreover, the tactician further explained that despite supposedly having a rich owner, but Inter’s financial condition must be align with FFP rules, that’s why they need to get more income first before making spending.

Aside from Mkhitaryan, Spalletti also denied his side’s chance in landing Javier Pastore, because of the same financial situation.

It remain to be seen on whether the Serie A giant are really backing out on those two names rumored by the media, or it’s simply another transfer market tactics being deployed to ease off on the financial request for those two players.

As for Mkhitaryan himself, his future at Old Trafford is certainly under serious threat, especially with rumors claiming he hasn’t been getting along that well with Man United boss, Jose Mourinho.
