AC Milan Continue Early Spending Spree With Andre Silva Signing

Italian giant, AC Milan Continue their attempt to rebuild their team under new ownership and management as they made some exciting early signings already.

Following up their first three interesting arrivals, Rossoneri has just confirmed the signing of talented Portuguese attacker, Andre Silva for about 38 million Euro.

The highly touted striker is reportedly being liked by many clubs, but Milan concluded things early as they could be in danger of getting into bidding war should they wait a little longer.

Reports suggesting that several other interested teams such as Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, Paris Saint-Germain and others were planning to make their moves right after the upcoming Confederations Cup, in which the player will participate with Portugal.

Knowing they could potentially lose the player of ends up paying over the top money, Rossoneri along with the player’s agent swiftly wrapping that deal within just few hours on Sunday.

Silva completed his medical on Monday, before signing a five year deal later that day, which sees him at San Siro until 2022.

Milan’s refusal to compete Real Madrid’s high asking price on Alvaro Morata seemingly triggered their idea in pursuing Silva instead, especially after several meetings with his agent, Jorge Mendes.

The Rossoneri now hopes that their new man  can fulfill his potential and help them pushing hard for a successful season next summer.
