Coutinho Happy With New Liverpool Deal
Having his name continuously linked with a potential departure from Anfield, Philippe Coutinho give some calm into Liverpool fans nerves as he has extended his stay until 2022.
The Brazilian midfielder expressed his joy to sign a new Deal by thanking everyone at the club while stating that he is happy and will work even harder.
That new agreement itself reportedly makes the former Inter Milan player Liverpool’s highest paid player now with his wages said to be around 150,000 pounds a week.
This news should ended any speculation regarding the player for now, but unfortunately nothing can be decided sometime in the future, especially knowing the situation with previous stars such as Fernando Torres and Luis Suarez.
Still, Coutinho’s new contract should at least offer that sense of calmness for The Reds for this remaining part of season as they can fully focus in trying to keep their challenge for league title.
Reports of the Brazilian’s extension also brought delight for Liverpool boss, Jurgen Klopp, who stated that it’s a wonderful news for everyone related with the Merseyside based outfit.
Klopp also added that Coutinho’s decision to sign a new deal also shown how the Brazilian has faith in current club’s project.
The tactician hopes that his star midfielder can continue to create happy memories at Anfield for a long time and achieve glory with the club.
