Klopp Voiced Out Concern Over Liverpool’s Defense
Liverpool’s shocking 3-2 home defeat over relegation dweller, Swansea City apparently triggered a strong reaction from The Reds’ boss, Jurgen Klopp.
The former Borussia Dortmund tactician held an important talk with his players, in which he highlighted some Concern regarding their defending in recent games.
Sharing his views to the media, Klopp admitted that there’s some improvements that can be made by Liverpool at the back, as recently they have been conceding goals in a rather similar fashion.
Moreover, the German also added that at times there were just too many players making avoidable mistakes in defending, something that he isn’t keen on seeing again.
The 49-year-old refused to put blame on individuals for their recent poor defensive displays as he believes it’s more of a collective effort.
Aside from that defensive issue, another important thing that the manager discuss with his players is about encouraging them to enjoy the game more.
After experiencing such a strong season, Liverpool’s performances slightly dip recently, which was topped by that loss against Swansea at Anfield.
Seeing that the condition is not as positive as before, Klopp decided to have important discussion with his players in a hope to regain their form and continue their challenge for title this season.
