To follow up last month’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles X Adidas Superstar Shelltoe release, adidas Originals will not be paying tribute to Master Splinter with another special Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles x Adidas Superstar release.

As most of you know, Master Splinter is the beloved mentor of the four turtles that taught them the art of ninjutsu. Originally a pet rat of Hamato Yoshi, Master Splinter mutated alongside the turtles through mutagenic ooze exposure.

This Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles x adidas Superstar is meant to look and resemble the features of Master Splinter. This is done by dressing up the shoe in a shaggy suede that is the paired up with Pink serrated Three Stripes along the side panels. Other notable details include the turtle shell motifs on the tongues, the comic book-inspired insoles and Splinter’s weapons showcased on the Gold lace dubrae. As a an added bonus, just like the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles X Adidas Superstar Shelltoe release, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles x adidas Superstar Master Splinter will also be packaged in vintage toy-inspired boxes.

Retailing for $130, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles x adidas Superstar Master Splinter is expected to release later on this year at select retailers and adidas.com. Stay tuned as this story develops.
