Todd Snyder is no stranger to footwear collaborations. Over the years the brand has teamed up with footwear giants such as New Balance, Vans, Converse and Cole Haan to release head turning collabs. Now, for the first time ever, Todd Snyder will be releasing their very own footwear model, the Todd Snyder Tuscan Court Shoe.

Todd Snyder’s inaugural mainline sneaker is defined as a classic looking sneaker that combines Todd’s love for old-school basketball and tennis shoes with luxe Italian craftsmanship and the sort of sartorial flourishes more commonly found on a bespoke dress shoe.

“Collaborating with New Balance and Converse was a full-immersion crash course in the finer points of sneaker design, and the natural next step was to launch my own sneaker line — one that combined Italian craftsmanship with New York attitude,” says Todd. “I started with the classic silhouettes you would have seen at The Cage on West 4th Street or on the courts at Forest Hills back in the 70s, and then added these luxurious Italian leathers and suedes to create a gentleman’s court sneaker.”

Helping Todd’s vision come to life is GEM Srl, the world-renowned Tuscan shoemakers known for their dedication to handmade craftsmanship. The Todd Snyder Tuscan Court Shoe features soft suede uppers along with Vachetta leather accents that play against the shoe’s clean lines. Versatile in design, you can effortlessly pairs these with light-wash denim and a tee or even with a pair of chinos and a button-down. Taking a close look you will find premium details such as the brogue-style stitching on the toe-box and a suede mudguard next to the vamp for a little extra protection all while being placed atop a cork footbed and EVA cup sole. The elegant aesthetic of the sneaker extends on to the packaging as it consists of the type of cotton shoe bags that would normally accompany a benchmade loafer or wingtip.

Available in your choice of Biscotti Cream or Grigio Gray, the Todd Snyder Tuscan Court Shoe is set to release on Septeber 14th at 10 AM ET at ToddSnyder.com and all retail locations for the retail price of $498.
